Although The Reaganomics pride themselves on the note for note recreation of all the songs from this great era, we occasionaly take some artistic liberty and embellish these songs as you will notice in some of the recordings. We will work with you when planning your event to find out if you want songs performed true to the recordings or if you would like to 'mix it up'.
You will also notice we have a few tunes from other genres to showcase that we have a much wider repertoire of songs than just 80's. We are constantly learning new songs and commonly learn songs specific to a client's needs. Whether this may be a first dance for a wedding or an obscure 80's classic, we try to accomodate all your requests.
We have many more samples of our music. Please use the 'Contact Page' if you would like to request a complete promotional DVD of our music and videos.

Krush,
Mercurial, emotional, devoted and possessed by the heartfelt words, melodies and music of the diverse 80’s.
Vocally capable of eliciting tears with the lilting tones of A-HA’s “Take On Me” or pushing the temperate soul to the back of the room with the growling power of Billy Idol’s “Rebel Yell”
Spelled Krucz in his homeland of Lithuania is really the fictional character of David Paskowitz, eldest son of the Paskowitz First Family of Surfing. Having spent the first half of his life as a highly-respected, world-class surfing professional, David has since then pursued singing, the art of his mother, who in her time was a world-class contralto operatic performer. Well-known in San Diego county as the lead vocalist for the highly-acclaimed 70’s funk band, Goldfish, David is delivering satisfaction to a new decade of music with his new band, The Reaganomics.
With over 12 years of singing and performing experience, Ivy brings the crowd alive with her on-point vocals and awesome energy. Whether she's jumping and grooving to Girls Just Wanna have Fun and Mickey or rocking out to Heartbreaker and Sweet Child O Mine, Ivy pulls the 80's back to with her own unique sound. You are sure to never sit still when she's on stage. Her influences include Ann Wilson of Heart, Gwen Stefani, Amy Lee of Evanescence, Pat Benatar and Blondie.
Somewhere in the early 90's as the fun, innocent sound of the 80's fell to the wayside in favor of the darker, angrier side of grunge, Nero, a native of Cincinnati, Ohio, realized he missed the high-energy, feel good music that he grew up with. He formed a a band with some fellow nostalgia-feeling musicians, and the first Reaganomics was born. Instantly a Midwest favorite, The Reaganomics recreated, night after night, the very essence of the 80's. For years, The Reaganomicsdominated the Midwest music scene.
Eventually, Nero graduated college (7 years later) and started a 'Real job' that forced him to travel the world. The end of his time with the Reaganomics(Midwest Edition) was at hand.
As he traveled the world, dined with dignitaries, dated foreign supermodels and drank the finest wines the world had to offer, he noticed something that was a commonality throughout the world: everyone loved 80's music.
Throughout his travels, though, there seemed to be something missing. Nero knew he craved playing guitar and dressing up in circa 80's clothing like many people crave a two-dollar painted lady on Christmas, but it was something more that ate at him - something that he knew would be his demise unless he figured it out.
It was two years and six continets later, while Nero was nearing the Summit of Mt. Everest, that he realized what it was...80's music - pure, fun, high energy 80's music!! So..he got off that mountain, sold his Ferrari, his houses in Spain and Italy, and settled up with all his illegitimate children around the world.
One thing still had to be decided: where should the new Reaganomics be founded? There was no other choice than sunny San Diego - and as a result, a destiny had now been fulfilled in Southern California.
So as you see Nero onstage at a venue near you, cutting loose with yet another searing guitar riff that flashes you back to someof the best times of your life, know that he and the the new and improved Reaganomics have arrived at this place, at this time, just for you.
Well, at least mostly for you.. and of course somewhat for the local Southern California supermodels, and the quirky nocturnal habits of the other band members, and to keep ahead of the Midwestern law enforcement officials that were hot on his trail, and....
Growing up in the early 80's, young Billy Vinyl, mullet enhanced, was developing his playing style drumming along to casette recordings of Kiss, Steve Miller Band and Captain and Tenille. These musical powerhouses gave way to the lifelong influences of Wham, Cyndi Lauper and Duran Duran that helped develop Billy's rock n' roll' approach to even to most drum machine oriented songs of the era. While hair style and clothing has changed, Billy Vinyl stays true to the 80's and knows Quiet Riot is poising themselves to make a comeback to the top of the charts once again
At 16, Max bought his first Bass. Within a year, he was in his High School Jazz band and jamming to the sounds of Blondie, the Cars, and Elvis Costello in a New Wave group called The Towers. Fleeing his Wisconsin roots for a world tour concert, Max called the Marine Corps home for the next twenty years. As his luck would turn out, he found himself in London during the mid-1980s, serving America and indulging on the techno sounds of the English club scenes and live Hyde Park concerts. Now, he’s back in civilian ranks, ready to ROCK the music of his favorite decade! Max brings the “bottom end” to the party just as he’s done with many San Diego Rock cover band favorites, including Mad Props, Jukebox, Red-handed, and Bandemic. Jaco, Flea & Geddy have been this Bassist’s greatest inspiration, along with his sole mate Suzanne and their in-home concert pianist daughter, Stevie. Turning down a world tour with Final Warning, Max is buying time with the REAGANOMICS until Night Ranger asks him to join them on their next concert tour.
Testimonials
Incredible! I had a upscale fundraiser and these guys were fantastic. First, working with the band was an absolute pleasure. They were very professional, timely, and offered many suggestions on how to make the entire event successful. They even offered and help hire other vendors they had worked with in the past. They followed up with phone calls and emails so I always knew what was going on. There performance and sound and lighting were second to none. They are all incredible performers! Vocally some of the best I have ever heard. I would recommend these guys to anyone and everyone. -- Brian B, Rancho Sante Fe, CA, 2/14/2009
We had the Reaganomics play at our Nov. wedding in Tucson and we cant say enough good things about them! They are energetic, entertaining, and great musicians. I heard from so many people (both young and the young-at-heart) that this was by far the most fun wedding theyve attended. My parents had been a little concerned that they wouldnt like the band, but they were blown away with their amazing singing ability and with how great all the music was. They heard similar compliments from all their friends. I would HIGHLY recommend the Reaganomics to everyone. They really did make our wedding reception everything we had hoped it would be! -- Kelly H, Tucson, AZ, 11/17/200
The Reaganomics played at my 160 guest wedding in San Francisco in January 2007, and they were absolutely phenomenal. I expected them to be very good, and they were even better than I expected. I recommend them without hesitation to anyone looking for a really strong 80s cover band. I have seen many 80s bands play live (including Tainted Love and the other popular SF-based groups) and I listened to a dozen more on the Internet before hiring the Reaganomics. None of these groups has anything on the Reaganomics. The clips they have on the Internet are good, but don't do full justice to how they sound, which is terrific. The other thing you can't get a sense of from the Internet is how great a show the Reaganomics put on. They use wireless microphones and guitars, so they can run out onto the dance floor (or among the banquet tables when the mood is right) to fire people up. The people on the dance floor loved it, and one of my favorite memories of the entire wedding day was looking out across the room and seeing the lead guitarist jamming out in front of one of the tables while all the guests went crazy. I received compliment after compliment about the group and about how much fun everyone had dancing. One thing that surprised me was the appeal of 80s music to multiple generations. I knew everyone in their 20s and 30s would dance to 80s tunes, but my wedding planner told me the folks in their 50s and up would not. That was totally wrong. We had folks in their 60s, 70s, and 80s out on the dance floor all evening long. As far as the guests knew, this group was a "5" on the professionalism scale. They were on time; they looked great; they sounded great; their costumes were 80s appropriate AND family appropriate at the same time; their lighting rig was fine; the sound wasn't too loud; etc. That said, I gave the group a "4" for professionalism instead of a "5" because from time to time they were a little slow in responding to emails, which can make a control freak of a groom a little nervous. That said, they delivered more than expected, so I'm a very happy customer. I'd definitely hire them again, and I hope I have occasion to. -- Mark C, San Francisco, CA, 1/20/2007
